In the heart of the Whispering Woods, where ancient trees touched the sky and moss carpeted the earth like a velvet rug, lived Ginger. She was a fairy, yes, but not like the others in the shimmering kingdom of Aethelgard. Her wings were a muted amber, not iridescent like the royal court’s, and her hair, the color of autumn leaves, seemed to absorb the light rather than reflect it. From the moment she was born, Ginger was deemed "unsuitable," "too plain," "too quiet." No one in Aethelgard wanted her.
